Taiwan Summer Course Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang (July–August)
In July–August, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang (UM Palembang) warmly welcomed a group of students from Taiwan to participate in a Summer Course Program. This international program was designed to strengthen academic collaboration and cultural exchange between UM Palembang and partner universities in Taiwan.
During the program, the Taiwanese students joined a series of interactive classes, workshops, and cultural activities organized by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The academic sessions focused on Indonesian language, culture, and education, allowing the participants to experience firsthand the richness of Indonesia’s linguistic and cultural diversity.
Beyond the classroom, the students took part in community visits, traditional art performances, and local excursions around Palembang. These experiences not only enhanced their understanding of Indonesian society but also built meaningful friendships between Taiwanese and Indonesian students.
The Summer Course successfully promoted mutual understanding, global awareness, and academic partnership. Both UM Palembang and the Taiwanese universities expressed their commitment to continuing such collaborative programs in the future, fostering a deeper connection between the two nations through education and cultural exchange.
